Hello!
Hi! We're the Horton's! We bought Villa Blue in 2019 and since then it's created so many memories for us and our two kids. When we're here, it has a special feel that's laid back, bright and cheery - like home away from home.
We hope you enjoy Villa Blue like we do - it's been an absolute dream come true for us. Enjoy exploring Port Aransas and making wonderful memories. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, please do not hesitate to let us know!

How to Get Here
Plan ahead on how you're going to arrive to Port Aransas as the ferry can have wait times. Our address is: 301 E Avenue C #7, to help with finding the correct route, here is a map for directions: https://maps.app.goo.gl/mN9FkcQhFPkHxYLV7
Check-in Information
Check-in Time: 4:00pm

At least 24 hours prior to your arrival, you should receive a communication on the door codes for Villa Blue. Please ensure you've filled out the check-in form in order to receive all this information.

Upon your arrival, please contact us immediately if you encounter any cleaning or maintenance issues, or if anything is unsatisfactory. Please also inspect the golf cart. We want to ensure your comfort and satisfaction during your stay.
Information on the House
Parking
Parking for up to 3 vehicles is available directly in front of Villa Blue. Please use the designated parking spaces whenever possible.
If those spaces are full, street parking is available. We kindly ask that you be mindful of our neighbors and avoid blocking the street or other vehicles.
Boats, RVs, campers, or trailers must be approved in advance. Vehicles that violate community rules may be towed at the owner's expense.
Beach Parking
If you plan to drive a vehicle onto the beach, you will need a beach parking permit, which can be purchased locally at grocery store or gas stations.
WiFi
Occasionally Port Aransas experiences internet outages due to the island infrastructure. If you experience connection issues during your stay, please let us know and we will do our best to help troubleshoot.

TVs
All TVs are Smart TVs so you can access your streaming apps.
The living room TV includes Spectrum cable. Bedroom TVs have the Spectrum app already logged in for live television.
Please remember to log out of any personal streaming accounts before checkout.
Linens & Laundry
Extra towels are located in each bathroom, and additional blankets can be found in the closets.
An iron and ironing board are available in one of the bedroom closets. The main floor also includes a washer and dryer for guest use.
Please remember to shake out sandy items before washing. For the comfort of future guests, please keep bath towels inside the home.
Trash
Trash bins are located outside near the parking area.
If your stay includes Tuesday or Friday, we would greatly appreciate your help rolling the bins to the curb for pickup.
Thermostat / Temperature Control
We have newly installed HVAC system! The thermostat is located on the second floor in the hallway next to the blue barn door.
You are welcome to adjust the temperature during your stay. We recommend making gradual adjustments, as large temperature changes can cause the system to temporarily shut off.
During warmer months, please set the thermostat to 75°F when departing.
Candles & Fireworks
For safety reasons, candles (except birthday candles) and fireworks are not permitted.
Grilling
The home includes two charcoal grills for guest use. Please ensure coals are fully extinguished before leaving the grill unattended.
Fire Extinguishers
Fire extinguishers are located in the kitchen cabinet to the left of the sink and in the upstairs primary bedroom closet behind the door.
Carbon Monoxide Detectors
This home is equipped with carbon monoxide detectors.
If an alarm sounds, please exit the home immediately and call 911. Carbon monoxide is an odorless and potentially dangerous gas, so please do not remain inside if the alarm activates.
Security
For everyone's safety, please remember to lock all doors and windows whenever you leave the home.
Prepare for your Stay
Supplies
We provide a starter supply of basic essentials to help you get settled, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You will also find hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, salt and pepper, and trash bags.
If you enjoy cooking, feel free to bring your favorite spices and specialty ingredients. Anything else you may need can easily be purchased at local grocery stores. You can also visit the “Places to Eat” page on our website for nearby restaurant recommendations and locations.

We do our best to keep these items stocked and in good condition, but because they are shared between guests we cannot guarantee every item will always be fully functional. If something is broken or missing, please let us know so we can replace it for future guests.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully stocked to make cooking easy during your stay. It includes new cookware, dishes and utensils, a 12-cup coffee maker and Keurig, blender, toaster, milk frother, air fryer, Fry Daddy, crockpot, large stock pot for shrimp boils, cookie sheets, cutting boards, and more.
Pet bowls for food and water are also available.

Shipping Packages
Packages can be delivered to the home during your stay. However, we cannot guarantee or be responsible for items that arrive before or after your reservation. If you need assistance coordinating a delivery, please contact us in advance.
Safety & Rules
Parties
Villa Blue is designed for relaxing beach getaways and family vacations, so parties and large gatherings are not permitted.
Occupancy
The maximum occupancy for this home is 12 guests, including children age 2 and older. This limit is set by local licensing requirements and cannot be exceeded.
Noise
Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise levels and music to a minimum, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. This is particularly important when enjoying the outdoor seating areas or the pool.
Firearms
Firearms and fireworks are not permitted on the property.
Smoking / Vaping / Drug Use
Smoking, vaping, tobacco, cannabis, and illegal drug use are not permitted anywhere on the property. Violating this policy may result in a $500 fee and possible removal from the property.
Pets
We’re happy to welcome dogs at Villa Blue. Up to 2 dogs are allowed, and in some cases we may approve up to 3 depending on size, but they must be approved in advance. A $50 cleaning fee per pet will be added to your reservation.
Unfortunately, due to severe allergies in our children, we are unable to allow cats.
To help keep the home comfortable for everyone and for future guests, please keep pets off furniture and beds and ensure they are on a leash in common areas. Pets are not allowed in or around the community pool.
Please pick up all pet waste from the grassy areas and around the property, and do your best to keep excess pet hair to a minimum. If cleaners report excessive pet hair, an additional cleaning fee may apply.
Pets must be disclosed and paid for at the time of booking. Unannounced or unpaid pets may result in a $500 fee and possible reservation cancellation.

Check-Out Details
Check-out: 11:00pm
Checkout time is 11:00 AM. Please make sure all belongings are packed and you have departed by this time so our cleaning team can properly prepare the home for the next guests. Late checkouts may result in additional charges.

Load and start the dishwasher

Empty all items from the refirgerator

Fold down any comforters that were used (no need to strip the beds)

Place used towels on the bathroom floors

Dispose of trash bins, located close to the driveway. Please move bins to the road on Tuesdays and Fridays

Turn off all lights, fans, TVs

Make sure you're logged out of any apps on the Smart TVs

Lock all windows and doors
Golf Cart

Ensure golf cart is washed off, keys on the coat hook, full tank of gas (regular, unleaded ONLY) and pictures of any damages or issues sent to us
Grill
-
If you use the BBQ grill, please make sure it’s clean, and please do not put hot coals in the trash can. There is an additional fee ($50) if it’s left a mess.
Beach Gear

Please return all beach items in clean condition so we can continue providing this as an amenity to other guests. Use beach towels only at the beach.
Lost & Found
If something is left behind, we’re happy to help return it. Items can be retrieved and shipped within 14 days of checkout. There is a $25 handling fee plus packaging and shipping costs. Please contact us as soon as you notice an item was left behind.
